Will an ETF trade based on this index? Will the ETF own physical inventory of cephalopods? Will the immediate/eventual popularity of this ETF as a mechanism for everyman to hedge inflation cause further cephalopod inflation, creating an inflationary spiral?
Nice base 8 list. One must conform to survive.
Also I like the 4:1 html anchor on the middle components
Interesting investment ideas Jean.
Personally I’m building a long position in an interesting new note from a Japanese bank. They’re giving me a nice steady income stream in dollars from their newly restructured hotels portfolio. There’s almost no risk because I’ve taken a really high attachment point. In return I had to give them a put option in case we want to unwind it after a year, but they were really nice and let me gear up so I can afford to cover my own property portfolio. Suggest you give them a call!
How much does a side job controlveeing spam into blog comments pay and is that also a good way to be on my way to creating multiple streams of income in no time?
I AM having a remarkable day, thanks!
While not a cephalopod, I believe the phylum Cnidaria merits careful consideration for a long position in your portfolio:

what about the Colossal Squid? you know, that fat bastard that is 46 feet long and has three pointed/swiveling hooks on its suckers?
that dude could rip the Giant Squid right in half if there was ever a civil war amongst the Axis of Cephalopods that pitted them against each other
